Az INTERREG IVC európai területi együttműködési program keretében 5 ország szakmai képviselője előtt mutatkozott be a FŐGÁZ épületenergetikai tevékenysége. 2014. május 27-én az Európai Unió Regionális Fejlesztési Alapja által finanszírozott régiók közötti együttműködési program, az INTERREG IVC IMEA projekt keretében megtartott szakmai rendezvényen mutatták be a FŐGÁZ épületenergetikai tevékenységének üzleti modelljét öt ország energetikai szakértőinek.

On September 25^th 2013, the European Commission published two industrial Competitiveness reports, which showed that the role of industry in the EU has fallen in the last year, but that the Member States have made progress on improving the business environment. The Commission reports note however that a number of serious issues remain and are preventing the recovery of European industry in the light of the economic crisis. These include problems relating to access to finance, high energy prices, a lack of a skilled workforce and burdensome red tape. The EU launched the EU 2020 agenda in an attempt to resolve the lack of competitiveness of its economy and aimed to ensure that 20 percent of the EU economy came from industry by 2020.
