Since the transition the Hungarian energy sector has gone through some significant changes because of the market liberalization. From January 2003 the country's largest energy consumers were allowed to buy energy on the open market and shortly after that the gates opened for private participants as well. Because of the changes in the structure of the sector, actors need to adapt to new circumstances.
The Institute for Advanced Studies of Economics (KTI) at the Corvinus University of Budapest presented its newly launched postgraduate faculty in the frames of a press conference on the 17th of September. The specialisation starting in spring semester of the academic year 2009/2010, in the frames of which interested parties can obtain ’Energy economist and specialist’ qualifications. |
